i think the ones will be hit hard are investors from Asian countries such as Indonesia, VietNam, india...

From what i know, they use LR as their main payment processor

if you look at hyipfever portolio, you will see that she mainly use LR. i feel very sorry for them right now

it is already very hard for us to win big on these games and now we have to deal with the processor problem too.

Include my country Philippines as well. LR is the most preferred choice here. It's going to affect the ecurrency merchants that mostly sell LR funds.

Let's not forget that a lot of international exchangers will suffer also.

One thing for sure is that there will be a lot of HYIP admins use this excuse to stop paying their investors. This has happened last year and will happen again in my opinion.

I'm really out of luck. Just receive some payments 2hours before they went off.

There's nothing we can do now, hopefully it will come back soon. :(

Fingers crossed.

any hyips that continue to pay and survive through this hard time are deserved to get support from investors.

They'll have to isolate the LR funds. They can continue to pay members that use other payment processors. So sites like UPC that are having LR problems before may now have a valid reason not to pay members who used LR.

Looks like Perfect Money is now trying to avoid a similar scenario. They just made a change in their policy.

Because your government won't allow you to participate in these games, I guess.

What bothers me is that LR was financed using child pornography.  Scum like that need to be arrested.  He should have gotten more than 5 years.  If you read the article, you notice he wasn't charged with any child porn charges.  It seems the world values money more than children.

"Budovsky's businesses in Costa Rica apparently were financed by using money from child pornography websites and drug trafficking."

LR is not completely a payment processor. The site doesn't offer any option for us to fund our accounts directly with them via the banks.

So where do we get our LR funds? We do exchanges or buy them from a local merchant, right? But where do these exchangers or local merchants get the LR funds? From other people who exchange / sell the funds with them too. That means to say that what we've been doing all along was simply a form of bartering. It means to say that the original money equivalent to the circulating LR funds was long gone.

The authorities do not even realize the dangers of HYIPs and anonymous payment processors are used for drugs and illegal site payments (including child porn).

Same noise was created in Montreal newspapers about Payza (AlertPay at that time)

Also drugs and child porn payments.

it just the thing majority sees as danger, HYIP scams are not really a big concern or not even realized yet.

Wow, this could have a resounding effect on this "industry" of e-money gamblers like all of us.

I'm just hoping the HYIP world is spared. Let's face it, we enjoy it...even though we win sometimes and lose sometimes.

I'm not ready to get back to my vacation package MLM business yet

cause US is the only govt in the world who would go through the efforts to make sure scammers pay for their crimes.

other countries mostly do not care, or just think issuing an alert is enough.

Having US residents as investors or participants or clients in illegal outfit is just asking for serious problems.
